How To Make Coconut Kichidi
REQUIRED ITEMS:
Rice ----- 1cup
Water ----- 2 cups
Onion pieces ----- 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste ----- 2 spoons
Cinnamon ----- 2 or 3 small pieces
Cloves ----- 2 or 3
Grated carrot ----- 1/2 cup
Green chillie pieces ----- 1/2 cup
Salt ----- as required
Red chillie powder ----- as required
Coriander leaves ----- 1/2 cup
Coconut powder ----- 1 cup
Ghee ----- 1/2 cup
PROCEDURE:
- Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
- Add ghee in it and heat it for 2 sec.
- Add cloves and cinnamon in it.
- Fry all for 2 min.
- Add onion pieces also in it.
- Fry till onions comes to golden brown colour.
- After add ginger garlic paste in it and fry for 5 min.
- Now add grated carrot in it.
- Fry all for 10 min.
- Wash rice in a bowl and soak in water for 15 min.
- Add soaked rice in the pan.
- Fry all and add water in it.
- Cook rice for 15 min.
- After 15 min, add salt and coconut powder in it.
- Mix once and add coriander leaves in it.
- Make the stove off and take curry into a bowl.
- Now you are ready with coconut kichidi infront on you.
- Eat and enjoy the very tasty and delicious rice item coconut kichidi.
