How To Make Spinach Curry
REQUIRED ITEMS:
Spinach pieces ----- 1 cup
Mint Leaves ----- 1 cup
Coriander leaves ----- 1 cup
Onion pieces ----- 2 cups
Green chillie pieces ----- 1/2 cup
Red chillies ----- 1
Black gram ----- 1 spoon
Bengal gram ----- 1 spoon
Oil ----- as required
Water ----- as required
Jeera powder ----- 1/2 spoon
Jeera ----- 1 spoon
Mustard seeds ----- 1 spoon
Salt ----- as required
PROCEDURE:
- Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
- Add 2 cups of water in it.
- Boil water for 2 sec.
- After 2 sec, add mint leaves and spinach leaves in it.
- Add coriander leaves also in it.
- Boil green leafy vegetables for 15 to 20 min.
- After 20 min, make the stove off.
- Now drain the excess water from it.
- After take the boiled green leaves in a plate.
- Cool it for 15 min.
- After 20 min, make this into a fine paste in a jar.
- Take the paste into a cup and keep aside.
- Now take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
- Add 4 spoons of oil in it.
- Add red chillies, bengal gram and black gram also in it.
- Add jeera and mustard seeds also.
- Fry all for 2 sec.
- Add onion pieces and green chillie pieces also in it.
- Fry all till onion pieces comes to golden colour.
- Add green paste in it.
- Mix well for 10 min.
- Add salt as per your taste.
- Add jeera powder also.
- Mix once and add 1/2 cup of water in it.
- Mix well and cook it by placing a plate on it.
- Cook it for 5 to 10 min.
- After 10 min, make the stove off.
- Take the curry into a bowl and serve.
- Now you are ready with spinach curry infront on you.
- Eat and enjoy the very tasty and delicious spinach curry.
- This is a good combination with butter naan, pulkas, roti, chapatis and rice also.
