How To Make Potato Fingers

REQUIRED ITEMS:

Potatoes                     ----- 2
Onion pieces              ----- 1/2 cup
Corn flakes                ----- 2 cups
Oil                             ----- as required
Green chillies              ----- 1 or 2
Ginger pieces              ----- 1/2 cup
Plain flour                   ----- 1/2 cup
Corn flour                  ----- 2 spoons
Salt                            ----- as required

PROCEDURE: 

  1. Take potatoes and wash with water.
  2. Peel the skin of the potatoes and cut into long pieces.
  3. After take a cooker and add potato pieces and sufficient water in it.
  4. Add the water till pieces in it are fully soaked.
  5. Add salt also.
  6. Now make the stove on and keep the cover of it.
  7. Put weight on the cooker.
  8. Wait for 10 min till 3 whistles comes.
  9. After 3 whistles had come, make the stove off.
  10. After wait for 20 min till pressure of it goes out side.
  11. After 20 min, remove the weight and open it.
  12. Drain the excess water from it.
  13. Now take the boiled aloo in a plate and keep aside.
  14. Now take a jar and add onion pieces, green chillies, ginger and salt in it.
  15. Make into fine paste and add plain flour and corn flour in it.
  16. Mix well and add 4 spoons of water in it.
  17. Now take the mixed mixture in a bowl and mix well.
  18. After mixing it, dip one by one all aloo pieces in it.
  19. Now make the stove on and keep a pan on it.
  20. Heat the pan for 2 sec.
  21. Add 2 cups of oil in it and heat it for 2 sec.
  22. After oil is heated, take dipped aloo and roll on the flakes.
  23. After rolling it, dip one by one all the aloo pieces in the oil.
  24. Fry all the pieces till pieces comes to golden brown colour.
  25. After frying it, make the stove off.
  26. Take the fried potato fingers in a plate and serve.
  27. Now you are ready with potato fingers infront of you.
  28. Eat and enjoy the very tasty, crispy and yummy snack item potato fingers.
  29. You can eat with tomato sauce or chuney also.
