How To Make Maramaralu Upma
REQUIRED ITEMS:
Maramaralu ----- 2 cups
Water ----- as required
Onion pieces ----- 1 cup
Green chillie pieces ----- 1/2 cup
Curry leaves ----- 1/4 cup
Tomato pieces ----- 1/2 cup
Oil ----- as required
Mustard seeds ----- 1/2 spoon
Jeera ----- 1/4 spoon
Black gram ----- 2 spoons
Bengal gram ----- 1 spoon
Turmeric powder ----- 1/2 spoon
Coriander leaves ----- 1/2 cup
Salt ----- as required
PROCEDURE:
- Take a bowl and add maramaralu in it.
- Now add sufficient water in it till maramaralu is fully soaked.
- After soaking water, wash with hand.
- After washing with water, drain water fully.
- Keep the washed maramaralu aside for 10 min.
- Now take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
- Keep in low flame.
- Now add 4 spoons of oil in it and heat it for 2 sec.
- Add mustard seeds, jeera, black gram and bengal gram in it.
- Fry for 1 sec.
- Add curry leaves also.
- Add green chillie pieces and onion pieces also.
- Fry it by mixing well for 2 min.
- After 2 min, add turmeric powder also.
- Mix well for 2 min.
- Now add tomato pieces in it.
- Add salt in it as per your taste.
- Mix once and keep a plate on the pan.
- Wait for 5 min.
- After 5 min, add washed maramaralu in it.
- Now mix once and cook for 2 min.
- After 2 min make the stove off.
- Now garnish with coriander leaves on it.
- Take a plate and serve in it.
- Now you are ready with maramarala upma infront of you.
- Eat and enjoy the very tasty, yummy and delicious maramaralu upma.
