How To Make Rava Kesari









REQUIRED ITEMS :

Rava                          ----- 1 cup
Water                        ----- 3 cups
Sugar                         ----- 1 1/2 cup
Ghee                         ----- 1/2 cup
Cashew nuts              ----- 1/2 cup
Raisins                      ----- 1/4 cup
Food colour              ----- small pinch

PROCEDURE:   
  1. Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
  2. Add rava in it and fry for 2 min by mixing well.
  3. After 2 min, take a plate and take this fried rava into it and keep aside.
  4. Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
  5. Add ghee in it and heat it for 2 sec.
  6. Add cashew nuts and raisins in it.
  7. Fry both by mixing well.
  8. Fry nuts and raisins till nuts comes to light brown colour.
  9. After frying nuts, take into a cup and keep aside.
  10. Now take the pan and heat it for 2 sec.
  11. Add water in it and boil for 2 min.
  12. After water has boiled, add the fried rava by mixing well.
  13. Add rava very care fully with out getting any lumps.
  14. After adding rava, cook it for 5 min by keeping a plate on it.
  15. Add sugar in it and mix well.
  16. Mix well for 10 min untill sugar is fully melted.
  17. Now add food colour and fried nuts and raisins also in it.
  18. Make the stove off.
  19. Take the sweet into a bowl and keep aside.
  20. Now you are ready with rava kesari infront of you.
  21. Eat and enjoy the very tasty, delicious and yummy sweet item rava kesari.
