How To Make Sabudana Punugulu

REQUIRED ITEMS:

Sabudana                     ----- 1 cup
Onion pieces                ----- 1/2 cup
Green chillie pieces       ----- 1/4 cup
Salt                              ----- as required
Oil                               ----- as required
Red chillie powder       ----- as required
Plain flour                    ----- 3/4 cup
Baking soda                ----- small pinch
Jeera                           ----- 1/2 spoon
Rice flour                    -----  2 or 3 spoons
Water                         ----- as required

PROCEDURE:
  1. Take a bowl and add sabudana and water in it.
  2. Soak it for 2 hours.
  3. After 2 hours, drain the water from it.
  4. Now in that bowl add plain flour, rice flour in it.
  5. Add onion pieces and green chillie pieces also.
  6. Add jeera, baking soda also.
  7. Mix once and add salt and red chillie powder in it as per your taste.
  8. Mix well by adding sufficient water in it.
  9. Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
  10. Add 2 cups of oil in it and heat it for 2 to 3 min.
  11. After heating it, make the mixed mixture into small balls.
  12. Now dip the balls one by one in the heated oil.
  13. Fry the balls till the colour of it changes to golden brown colour.
  14. After frying balls, remove the balls from the oil and take into a plate.
  15. Make the stove off.
  16. Now you are ready with sabudana punugulu infront of you.
  17. Eat and enjoy the very tasty, delicious, crispy and yummy snack item sabudana punugulu
