Sabudana ----- 1 cup
Onion pieces ----- 1/2 cup
Green chillie pieces ----- 1/4 cup
Salt ----- as required
Oil ----- as required
Red chillie powder ----- as required
Plain flour ----- 3/4 cup
Baking soda ----- small pinch
Jeera ----- 1/2 spoon
Rice flour ----- 2 or 3 spoons
Water ----- as required
PROCEDURE:
- Take a bowl and add sabudana and water in it.
- Soak it for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, drain the water from it.
- Now in that bowl add plain flour, rice flour in it.
- Add onion pieces and green chillie pieces also.
- Add jeera, baking soda also.
- Mix once and add salt and red chillie powder in it as per your taste.
- Mix well by adding sufficient water in it.
- Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
- Add 2 cups of oil in it and heat it for 2 to 3 min.
- After heating it, make the mixed mixture into small balls.
- Now dip the balls one by one in the heated oil.
- Fry the balls till the colour of it changes to golden brown colour.
- After frying balls, remove the balls from the oil and take into a plate.
- Make the stove off.
- Now you are ready with sabudana punugulu infront of you.
- Eat and enjoy the very tasty, delicious, crispy and yummy snack item sabudana punugulu.
