REQUIRED ITEMS:
Grated beet root ----- 1 cup
Corn flour ----- 1/2 cup
Salt ----- as required
Red chillie powder ----- as required
Oil ----- 1 cup
Elachi ----- 1
Cloves ----- 1
Onion paste ----- 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste ----- 1 spoon
Coriander powder ----- 1/2 spoon
Jeera powder ----- 1/2 spoon
Cashew nut paste ----- 1/2 cup
Fresh cream ----- 1 or 2 spoons
Turmeric powder ----- small pinch
Coriander leaves ----- 1/4 cup
PROCEDURE:
- Take a bowl and add grated beetroot in it.
- Add corn flour and sufficient salt and red chillie powder in it.
- Mix well with water to make it as a dough.
- Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
- Pour oil in it and heat it for 2 sec.
- Make the dough into small balls and dip into the oil.
- Fry it untill balls comes to golden brown colour.
- After colour has changed, remove from oil and take into a plate.
- Take the oil into a cup and keep aside.
- Put the pan again on the stove and make the stove on.
- Add 1/4 cup oil in it and heat it for 2 sec.
- Add 1 each elachi and cloves in it and fry for 2 sec.
- Add ginger garlic paste, onion paste in it and mix well.
- Add cashew nuts paste, coriander powder and jeera powder.
- Mix well and add turmeric powder in it.
- Add salt and red chillie powder in it as per your taste.
- Add 1/4 cup water also in it and mix for 4 min.
- After 5 min, add fried balls and fresh cream into it and mix well.
- Make the stove off and garnish with coriander leaves on it.
- Take a bowl and serve the curry into it.
- Now you are ready with beet root malai kofta curry infront of you.
