REQUIRED ITEMS:
Moong dal ----- 1/2 cup
Rice flour ----- 1 cup
Water ----- as required
Salt ----- as required
Turmeric powder ----- small pinch
Red chillie powder ----- as required
Oil ----- as required
Sesame seeds ----- 1/4 cup
PROCEDURE:
- Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
- Pour 1 1/2 cup water in it.
- Add washed moong dal in it and cook for 10 to 15 min.
- After 15 min, you can see moong dal is semi cooked.
- Now add turmeric powder in it.
- Add salt and red chillie powder in it as per your taste.
- Add rice flour also in it and mix well.
- Mix well till it comes to smooth dough.
- Now make the stove off and take the dough into a bowl.
- Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
- Add 1 cup oil in it and heat it for 2 sec.
- Make the dough into small balls and keep aside.
- Roll the ball with hand and fold like circle.
- Roll on the sesame seeds and dip in the oil.
- Fry it untill chegodilu comes to golden brown.
- After colour has changed, remove from oil and take into a plate.
- Now you are ready with sponge chegodilu infront of you.
- Eat and enjoy the very tasty, delicious and smooth sponge chegodilu.
