REQUIRED ITEMS:
Bengal gram ----- 1 cup
Black gram ----- 3/4 cup
Moong dal ----- 1/2 cup
Onion pieces ----- 1 cup
Green chillies ----- as required
Salt ----- as required
Ginger pieces ----- 1/4 cup
Jeera ----- 1 spoon
Curry leaves ----- 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves ----- 1/4 cup
Oil ----- as required
PROCEDURE:
- Take a bowl and add all dals into it.
- Pour sufficient water in it untill dal is fully soaked in it.
- Soak for 3 to 4 hours.
- After 4 hours, drain the water and wash well with excess water.
- After washing it, take a jar and add all 3 dals into it.
- Grind it well once and add green chillies, ginger pieces and salt into it.
- Grind it to make it as a thick batter by pouring water into it care fully.
- Grind it to make it as a smooth and thick batter consistency.
- Take into a bowl and add jeera, onion pieces in it.
- Add curry leaves and coriander leaves also into it.
- Mix well and put a pan on the stove and make the stove on.
- Pour oil in it and heat it for 5 min.
- Now make the batter into small balls and press slightly and make a hole in the centre.
- Now dip it in te heated oil.
- Make the batter like this and fry it untill it comes to golden colour.
- After colour has changed, remove from oil and take into a plate.
- After making all like this, make the stove off.
- This is a good combination with ginger chutney, tomato sauce also.
- Eat and enjoy the very tasty, delicious, crispy and yummy snack item mixed dal vada.
