How To Make Mixed Dal Vada















REQUIRED ITEMS:

Bengal gram                               ----- 1 cup
Black gram                                ----- 3/4 cup
Moong dal                                 ----- 1/2 cup
Onion pieces                             ----- 1 cup
Green chillies                             ----- as required
Salt                                           ----- as required
Ginger pieces                            ----- 1/4 cup
Jeera                                         ----- 1 spoon
Curry leaves                              ----- 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves                       ----- 1/4 cup
Oil                                            ----- as required

PROCEDURE: 
  1. Take a bowl and add all dals into it.
  2. Pour sufficient water in it untill dal is fully soaked in it.
  3. Soak for 3 to 4 hours.
  4. After 4 hours, drain the water and wash well with excess water.
  5. After washing it, take a jar and add all 3 dals into it.
  6. Grind it well once and add green chillies, ginger pieces and salt into it.
  7. Grind it to make it as a thick batter by pouring water into it care fully.
  8. Grind it to make it as a smooth and thick batter consistency.
  9. Take into a bowl and add jeera, onion pieces in it.
  10. Add curry leaves and coriander leaves also into it.
  11. Mix well and put a pan on the stove and make the stove on.
  12. Pour oil in it and heat it for 5 min.
  13. Now make the batter into small balls and press slightly and make a hole in the centre.
  14. Now dip it in te heated oil.
  15. Make the batter like this and fry it untill it comes to golden colour.
  16. After colour has changed, remove from oil and take into a plate.
  17. After making all like this, make the stove off.
  18. This is a good combination with  ginger chutney, tomato sauce also.
  19. Eat and enjoy the very tasty, delicious, crispy and yummy snack item mixed dal vada.
