How To Make Kubuli Rice

REQUIRED ITEMS:

Basmati rice               ----- 1 cup
Bengal gram(boiled)   ----- 1/2 cup
Oil                              ----- 2 to 3 spoons
Bay leaf                      ----- 1
Cloves                        ----- 2 to 3
Cinnamon                  ----- 2 to 3 pieces
Elachi                        ----- 2 to 3
Salt                            ----- as required
Turmeric powder       ----- small pinch
Water                         ----- 2 cups
Pudina leaves            ----- 1/2 cup
Fried onion pieces     ----- 1/2 cup
 Curd                          ----- 1/2 cup
Green chillie slices     ----- 2 to 3
Ginger garlic paste     ----- 1/2 spoon

PROCEDURE:
  1. Take a bowl and take rice into it.
  2. Wash basmati rice with water and drain it well.
  3. Now soak rice with 1 cup water for 10 min.
  4. Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
  5. Add 1 cup water, cloves, elachi,bay leaf & cinnamon into it.
  6. Boil for 2 min and add 1 spoon salt, 2 spoons pudina leaves in it.
  7. After water comes to boiling point, add soaked rice into it.
  8. Cook it by keeping a lid on it for 10 to 15 min.
  9. Take a bowl and add curd, boiled bengal gram, oil and 1 spoon salt in it.
  10. Add turmeric powder, green chillies & ginger garlic paste in it.
  11. Add 2 spoons of both pudina leaves & fried onion into it and mix well.
  12. Soak for 5 min by keeping it aside.
  13. Now remove the lid and take cooked rice into a bowl & keep it aside.
  14. Drain the remaining water.
  15. Take a thick vessel and spread evenly on the bottom of it by the mixed mixture.
  16. Add boiled rice on it and add remaining pudina and fried onions also.
  17. Now put the stove on and keep in medium flame.
  18. Cook for 5 min by keeping a lid on it.
  19. After 5 min, make the stove off and wait for 2 sec.
  20. Now you are ready with kubuli rice infront of you.
  21. Eat and enjoy the very tasty, delicious and yummy kubuli rice.
