How To Make Sabudana Jaggery Halwa


Sabudana                   ----- 1/2 cup
Jaggery                           ----- 1 1/2 cup
Ghee                               ----- 1/2 cup
Badam pieces                 ----- 1/4 cup
Cashew nut pieces          ----- 1/4 cup
Elachi powder                ----- small pinch

  1. First soak sabudana with 1 cup of water by taking into a bowl.
  2. Soak for full night. (means it should soak for 10 to 12 hrs)
  3. After soaking it for 12 hrs, drain the water into it.
  4. Wash with water and grind into a thick paste.
  5. After grinding it well, take into a bowl and keep aside.
  6. Make the stove on and place a pan on it.
  7. Heat it for 2 sec, add badam & cashew nuts in it.
  8. After fry the nuts untill nuts comes to light gold colour.
  9. Take fried nuts into a cup & keep aside.
  10. Now pour 1/2 cup water in the pan.
  11. Add jaggery also into it and stirr well untill, it is fully melted.
  12. Make jaggery syrup into a very thick state.
  13. Now add sabudana paste & boil for 5 min by mixing it occasionally.
  14. Add remaining ghee & fried nuts in it.
  15. Mix it untill it comes to very closer consistency.
  16. Now make the stove off and add elachi powder  & mix it well.
  17. Now you are ready with sabudana jaggery halwa infront of you.
  18. Eat and enjoy very tasty, delicious, yummy & healthy sweet item sabudana jaggery halwa.
