How To Make Ground Nut Chutney


Ground nuts                 ----- 1 cup
Green chillies               ----- 5 to 6
Salt                               ----- as required
Tamarind                      ----- small piece
Oil                                 ----- 1/2 cup
Black gram                   ----- 2 spoons
Bengal gram                 ----- 1 spoon
Jeera                              ----- 1/2 spoon
Mustard seeds               ----- 1/2 spoon
Curry leaves                 ----- 1/4 cup
Red chillies                   ----- 1 or 2

  1. Make the stove on and place a pan on it.
  2. Heat the pan for 2 sec and add ground nuts into it.
  3. Roast nuts for 2 to 3 min by mixing well.
  4. After roasting the nuts well, take into a bowl and keep aside.
  5. Now in that pan add green chillies into it.
  6. Add 1 spoon oil in it and fry chillies for 2 to 3 sec and make the stove off.
  7. Be careful while frying green chillies because chillies will splits on you.
  8. After keep fried chillies into nuts bowl and keep it aside to cool for 10 min.
  9. Soak tamarind with 1/2 cup of water.
  10. After 10 min, take a mixy jar and add fried chillies into it.
  11. Add roasted ground nuts, salt in it as neede for taste.
  12. Add soaked tamarind into it and grind well.
  13. Grind it to make into fine paste by adding sufficient water into it.
  14. Now take the chutney into a bowl and keep it aside.
  15. Make the stove on and put a pan on it.
  16. After 2 sec, add 3 spoons oil into it.
  17. Heat it for 2 sec, add black gram, bengal gram & mustard seeds into it.
  18. Add jeera, curry leaves and red chillie pieces in it.
  19. After roasting all, make the stove off and add this to the chutney.
  20. Now you are ready with ground nut chutney infront of you.
  21. This is a good combination with dosa, idli, upma, bonda & uthappam also.
  22. Eat & enjoy the very tasty, delicious and yummy ground nut chutney.
