How To Make Ridge Gourd Chutney

REQUIRED ITEMS:

Ridge gourd pieces                ----- 1 cup
Green chillies                         ----- 5 to 6
Oil                                          ----- 1/4 cup
Garlic                                     ----- 4 to 5 no.
Tamarind                               ----- small piece
Mustard seeds                       ----- 1/4 spoon
Salt                                        ----- as required
Jeera                                      -----1/4 spoon
Black gram                           ----- 1/2 spoon

PROCEDURE:
  1. First wash the ridge gourd, peel it and chop into fine pieces.
  2. Now place a pan on the stove and make it on.
  3. After add green chillies, chopped pieces and sprinkle 2 spoons oil in it.
  4. Fry for 4 to 5 min by mixing it occasionally.
  5. Add tamarind in it and place the lid on it.
  6. After roasting well, make the stove off and keep it aside.
  7. Wait for 10 min, take a mixy jar.
  8. Add green chillies, salt, tamarind and garlic also.
  9. Grind it well and now add ridge gourd pieces in it.
  10. Grind it into fine paste and take into a bowl.
  11. Now make the stove on and add 2 spoons oil in that pan.
  12. Add black gram, mustard seeds and jeera into it.
  13. After it has fried, add to the chutney and make the stove off.
  14. Now you are ready with ridge gourd chutney infront of you.
  15. This is a good combination with rice, chapati and dasa also.
