How To Make Rice Flakes Kesari

REQUIRED ITEMS:

Rice flakes                     ----- 1 cup
Sugar                             ----- 1 cup
Ghee                               ----- 1/2 cup
Milk                                ----- 2 to 3 cups
Kaju &badam pieces      ----- 1/2 cup
Raisins                           ----- 1 spoon
Food colour / saffron     ----- small pinch

PROCEDURE: 
  1. First wash riceflakes with water & drain water from it.
  2. After squeeze rice flakes & keep in a plate to dry well.
  3. Take a pan and heat it for 2 sec.
  4. Add 2 spoons ghee into it and heat for 2 sec.
  5. Add kaju, raisins & badam pieces  in it and fry well.
  6. After frying dry fruits, keep in a bowl.
  7. Now add 2 spoons ghee in it and fry rice flakes.
  8. Roast it untill flakes comes to light gold colour.
  9. After take into a plate & keep it aside.
  10. Pour milk into the pan and boil for 5 to 10 min.
  11. After milk has boiled, add sugar into it.
  12. Mix well untill sugar is fully melted.
  13. Now add fried rice flakes & dry fruits in it & mix once.
  14. Add food colour / saffron in it.(you can add as you like it)
  15. If you are adding saffron in it, mix with 2 spoons of milk into it.
  16. Now mix it occasionally by adding remaining ghee in it.
  17. After sweet comes to closer consistency, make the stove off.
  18. Now you are ready with rice flakes kesari infront of you.
  19. Eat and enjoy very tasty, delicious, healthy & yummy sweet item rice flakes kesari.

How To Make Rice Flakes Sweet Pongal

REQUIRED ITEMS:

Rice flakes                           ----- 1 1/2 cup
Jaggery                                ----- 1 cup
Moong dal                          ----- 1 cup
Ghee                                   ----- 1/2 cup
Dry fruits                           ----- 1/2 cup
Coconut pieces                  ----- 1/4 cup
Water                                 ----- as required

PROCEDURE:
  1. Take rice flakes into a bowl and pour sufficient water.
  2. Pour water in it untill rice flakes fully soaked.
  3. Now take a pan and pour 1/2 cup water and grated jaggery in it.
  4. Make the stove on and put in medium flame.
  5. Mix occasionally for 10 min to comes into thick syrup.
  6. Cook moong dal in a pressure cooker by pouring 2 cups water in it.
  7. After 3 whistles has come, make the stove off.
  8. Add cooked moong dal to jaggery syrup and mix well.
  9. Now squeeze water from rice flakes and add to syrup.
  10. Make the stove off and keep it aside.
  11. Take another pan and heat it for 2 sec.
  12. Add ghee into it and dry fruits & coconut pieces also.
  13. Fry for 2 sec and add the fried nuts along with ghee into sweet.
  14. Mix well and serve it.
  15. Now you are ready with rice flakes sweet pongal infront of you.
